At the time I watched &quot;Maximum Strollerdrive&quot; on Screambox, it had a 7.4 rating on IMDb with 7 people rating it and no reviews. Okay, time to throw some reality on the fire.

First of all, one must not expect much from a movie with this title, but I was hoping for humor, perhaps something clever, a surprise or two, or at least some entertainment value. I got none of that. Granted, it had an approximate $500 budget, but I have been more impressed with no budget films more than this. I see the filmmakers have done other such films, and I can only assume they are of the same quality.

The plot is simple and stupid. A 6.9 earthquake somehow causes strollers to start chasing people and blowing them up. The budget doesn&apos;t allow for apocalyptic scenes of chaos, so we have a total of two characters and three strollers with cameras attached. We never find out why this is happening or really anything that might explain anything. It&apos;s just some nerdy dude trying to destroy a stroller that&apos;s chasing him. The other dude is a neighbor with a horrible wig and a fake mustache that he keeps pressing back in place. Maybe this was meant as intended humor? I really couldn&apos;t tell. Their discussions about what to do were way too long, and only brought more attention to the fake garage background. The special effects were what you might expect. Come on, I can enjoy a low budget movie, but this isn&apos;t funny, cultish, horror, interesting, clever or in any way worthwhile...unless you&apos;re a friend or family member who wants to show your love and appreciation with a high rating. The only positive thing I can say is that it&apos;s only 55min long.

Hopefully when more people also get fooled by the current high rating and then rate it appropriately, the number will drop. In the meantime, please be forewarned.
