Thrilling but empty

So quick and so efferverscent that I&apos;m still wondering what&apos;s the real goal with this short film. For a student project it&apos;s quite well-made, there are plenty of good production values but it&apos;s hard to find an actual purpose to a dramatic thriller that gets interested for a long time and then the thrill is gone without much of a wider appeal.

Boy and girl had different views of an event that took place during a party: she claims that she was attacked and abused but the guy keeps telling her to shut up. Major case for a great and tough debate since we are presented the facts as they happened and the viewer can decide what actually happened. Somehow despite all of that, they enter a car and head back home, and that&apos;s when things go a lot stranger since there was an inversion of values and situations, and later a third party gets involved when an accident takes place.

It&apos;s a very intriguing work yet the more it progresses the more it keeps showing some twists in its plot that just make things confusing or without much of a higher meaning. It didn&apos;t impressed me all that much but it kept me going and that&apos;s what matters in a way. To the makers of it I say &quot;keep going&quot;. There&apos;s talent to be worked there. 5/10.
