George Pal is best remembered for his Puppetoons, stop-motion cartoons, and for the effects-laden sci-fi movies his did in the 1950s. But here he's producing an actual cartoon, done in a most peculiar style. The characters are designed simply. In Europe, Pal had produced and directed his earliest stop-motion works for Phillips NV, advertising their products. Here he has made a cartoon for the J. Walter Thompson advertising agency to advertise Rinso, a laundry soap produced by Lever Bro..."
