"First and foremost: This is a reality tv show. Anyone who came into this with the expectation that it was going to be Squid Game: Season 2 will be disappointed. That said, it seems that a large majority of the people rating this show 1 star are simply confused. I see a lot of people complaining that the show has been Americanized and ruined.
