Instead of the usual style, this is a very personal type of film where cross-dressing men talk about a safe place to express themselves in the 1950s and 60s...Casa Susanna, a resort in the Catskills in New York. Much consisted of cross-dressing men talking about their experiences as well as children of these folks. Interestingly, the folks there tended to be straight men though some also went on to change their gender surgically. But none of them apparently identified themselves as gay...which was a bit ..."
