"I've watched somewhat similar horror shorts before-Don't Turn Off the Light, for example-which played with the same idea: keep the lights on, keep changing the bulbs, or something from the dark will get you. This one, however, had a different twist: whatever lurks out there isn't just a shadow, but flesh and blood. That detail led to a puzzling ending, which made the short stand apart-but not necessarily in a good way. Or did I interpret it wrong? I'm honestly not sure...."
