The &apos;stache is back for an Italian murder mystery! Kenneth Branagh made a name for himself adapting Shakespeare for the silver screen, but he&apos;s given up the Bard to go all in on Agatha Christie&apos;s genius Belgian detective Hercule Poirot. Branagh plays the literary sleuth for a third time after &apos;Murder on the Orient Express&apos; (2017) and &apos;Death on the Nile&apos; (2022).

In this whodunnit, Poirot has retired but can&apos;t resist a case when it involves a murder most foul! A death during a séance held by Joyce, played by Oscar-winner Michelle Yeoh, has Poirot investigating all-star suspects, including Jamie Dornan, Kelly Reilly, Tina Fey, and Jude Hill who played the lead of Branagh&apos;s semi-autobiopic, &apos;Belfast&apos; (2021). Poirot is determined to find logical explanations for supernatural circumstances such as the seemingly impossible physics of his own double mustache.

Based on Christie&apos;s 1969 novel &quot;Hallowe&apos;en Party,&quot; &apos;A Haunting in Venice&apos; is late in the detective&apos;s career that spans 33 novels, 2 plays, and 51 short stories published between 1920 and 1975, all of which were adapted for the 70 episodes of &quot;Agatha Christie&apos;s Poirot&quot; starring David Suchet. So, we can suspect more sequels may be afoot for Branagh&apos;s big-screen take on the dashing detective.
