"The sound effects serve only one purpose: to make you turn this show off. The episodes would otherwise be entertaining enough to have on while playing a computer game or something. But if you're going to "veg' out" that much, you don't want that horrible, clanging, jarring, annoying noise overpowering the dialogue. It's not unique to this show.
