Thomas arrives at Spencer Publications to talk to Liam, who doesn't want to hear anything he has to say. Thomas asks him to forgive Hope because she clearly still loves Liam and wants back together with him. Liam admits to loving Hope, but says that he isn't going to forgive her - because of Thomas. Liam then orders Thomas to leave. Hope tells Brooke that Liam refused to forgive her even though she wanted to reconcile. Brooke still believes in Liam coming around and warns Hope to stay away from Thomas. Ridge tells Steffy that he managed to hurt Eric's feelings by throwing out his old stapler. Eric tries to draw, but his hand begins to tremble and ache. RJ visits Eric, who tells him that Ridge dissed his talent when he told him he wants to design again. RJ can't believe it. Eric then asks RJ to help him design. Eric reveals that he's developed arthritis, which prevents him from holding a pencil for long. Eric swears RJ to secrecy about his condition. Thomas returns to Forrester where he tells Hope that he talked to Liam, who made it perfectly clear that he isn't budging in his decision to leave Hope. Thomas then asks Hope to continue seeing him instead. They end up kissing passionately. Brooke tells Ridge and Steffy that Liam said no to Hope.
