There are some moments in the show where the characters speak English and French with Spanish subtitles. But, much to the creative team's surprise and dismay, months after filming the network decided to dub those moments in Spanish and discard the subtitles, even though it created a nonsensical scene. When the show premiered the dubbed version aired on TV but the subtitled one aired on the network's streaming platform to please the critics of the idea.
