"This is a pretty depressing movie, it isn't a impactful film or anything like that. But it does get depressing and I personally built some sympathy for the characters. Not much for the boy lead, but maybe a little. The plot is about a pretty lunch lady that gets treated like a dog by her father and all around bad thing just seem to keep happening to her. Until he meets a boy in school who is equally as miserable. I guess it's the empathetic side that kicks in because she had a younger brother that drowned and died. And the movie is about what turmoil each other has to go through and ..."
