Children of the World
The short doc film, Children of The World, created by MAGO and Marsin Mogielski, explores J. Oscar Molina's journey as a child from El Salvador and the effect it had on Molina's artwork. It touches on the civil war of El Salvador, immigration, and pulls on the viewers heartstrings through the stories and the artwork. The short doc film was shot in Southampton at the Oscar Molina Gallery, as well as at the studio of J. Oscar Molina. J. Oscar Molina and curator Esperanza Leon talk about the emotion behind the large Children of the World sculptures, and showcases Molina's past and current works. The film aims to educate and connect people to show the viewer how much in common we all may have.
