It could be good
"The plot and scenery reminded me of The Alienist, a TNT TV show from some years ago, but the dialogue needed more work, and the story collapses after episode four for the worst. Good acting, costumes, and the film are well-made, but the story and dialogue fail. The idea that Jack the Ripper traveled the world in the late 1800s and continued his killings in Veracruz, Mexico, during the Porfiriato is a good one, but it stays as that because, in the end, the way the story is told doesn't work...."
