"Different approaches, styles, techniques and mediums but I can appreciate all nine portraits as well as the artists submissions. It is amazing to me, what each of them was able to create in just a few hours, not only to create a work of art but also to deliver a convincing likeness. Perhaps with my untrained eye I might have chosen differently with the shortlist and the winner. It is fascinating for me to get some insight into the artists choices of format, medium, styles and other factors in their approach.
