A police officer who was unable to find the killer of a young girl 11 years earlier. When another child is kidnapped in the same way just days before the case is closed for good, he decides to reinvestigate the unresolved kidnapping.

&quot;Six days &quot;before the case is closed :the viewer expects a race against the clock ,but twenty minutes after the beginning , it&apos;s deadline ;and it&apos;s just after the statute of limitations that the same situation happens :another child is kidnapped ; the first one was killed in mysterious circumstances which will be explained in the last scenes .

Although the story seems mundane , it&apos;s not so derivative :the villain is pitiful and the real culprit ,the man who&apos;s responsible for all this, works behind the scenes ,which gives the movie a Chabrolesque touch .However ,the plot will remind the viewer of Shari Lapena&apos;s &quot;the couple next door&quot; (2016); unlike her book, the screenplay sometimes lacks focus ,intensity but it avoids pathos and nothing is either good or bad .

Three good scenes : the kidnapping ,treated with a remarkable economy of means ;the mother desperately rummaging about in the truck ;the sporting event which confuses the issue.
