"Experience. That's what a movie is supposed to be. Especially in the horror type of genre. The audience has to be engaged on a very visceral level. It almost has to become a part of their life wherein they can't completely rely on the idea that "it's just a movie". Haunting Melissa moves into your basement and occasionally taps you on the shoulder when you least expect it. Haunting Melissa was released as an iPhone app, in 11 "chapters". It is a downloadable episodic series based around Melissa, who experiences some paranormal activity in the farmhouse that she shares with her father and the memories of her dead mother. The app comes with the first episode (or chapter) for free, but viewing the rest of the chapters comes at a cost. There's a total of 11 chapters and sometimes there are some short videos in between. Each time you re-watch a chapter, certain details appear and disappear.
