Never Forget

A heartbreaking revelation of the eyes of war, but also the strength of a relationship, that showcases an uneven bond with love. I was invested in both of the performances with how they both see their relationship in this uneven state after the husband got back from the war. I like the MCU &amp; CU shots of both characters, letting the edit flow to each crucial moment during their performance. The harsh orange colors gave so much vibrance to the mood of that scene. Minimal set-design work, but it&apos;s very good. What made me love this demo scene is the MCU shot of the girlfriend fully expressing her emotions, and right from there, the tone changes, and it creates a massive focus on her after the long monologue from the husband/soldier. The end did shock me a bit, which helped build with its great performance and story revelation. The one thing I wish the scene had done was go back to a wide shot in the middle, or cut to the girlfriend with more reaction shots. But overall, this is a great-paced demo scene.
