"This show is not for the uninitiated. It is a show for people well versed in anime as a lot of the fun lies in understanding the moments of parody. The whole parodies conventions of anime especially fan service. The show only tries to do one thing and that is to create one epic fight scene after another and in this regard it is unmatched in any anime since maybe Dragonball Z only unlike DBZ the fight scenes take 10 minutes not 10 episodes to end. In spite of being a pretty light hearted show it manages to create some really well rounded characters with understandable motivations and an underly..."
