Since Tha is a non-actor and cannot read, her dialogue was completely improvised as she wished. In the additional recording, as she and the director were engaged in a casual conversation, being asked why she had so many children, she said: "I don't know. Anytime he touched me, I popped one out" and burst out laughing. The director loved her laughs so much, that she left them in the final edit and rewrote and recorded the lines for Lua to adapt to Tha's line.
