"Series like this one often mix scenes dealing with the characters' private lives with the murder plot. Fine - I have no problem with that. But here we have around 75% soap opera to only 25% police procedural. It makes for a slow moving tale with far more about the amorous goings on of the cops that I wanted or needed to know. It does have some nice scenery and an attractive lead, but that's not enough. The 'humorous' exchanges are not especially funny. If you want to see a really good Sicily-set series with top class acting, twisty plots and a great central character, wat..."
