"This is a very different kind of short from what we're used to seeing from this director. "How Do I Look?" leans heavily toward horror-comedy-and to be honest, the horror elements are fairly minimal. It plays more like a straight comedy short. The setup is familiar to many: a young woman unable to decide what to wear on a date while her date waits impatiently. What follows is somewhat exaggerated, but that exaggeration is exactly what gives the film its comedic edge. The music choice also stands out from the director's other work, yet it fits the tone and purpose well...."
