"After good debut movies in OKOK & Sundarapandian from both Udhay & Prabakaran(director) respectively, I had some expectation about IDHU KATHIRVELAN KADHAL.. Well, it was nothing more than a feel good entertainer... It was not a huge disappointment but it could've been much better.. The story was pretty normal, the characters are the ones usually seen in normal rom-com type movies.. But this had an emotional climax which gave a slight positive feel about the movie overall.. I'd say the songs were below par being a HARRIS fan.. Santhanam was good with his one'liners again...."
