"The movie claims to bring together seven short stories about animals in wartime Ukraine, but they are still more about people. While some of them have touching moments, as a whole it feels rather disjointed and unbalanced. I found it difficult to connect emotionally (I'm Ukrainian): the tone and choice of music often felt out of place, and several scenes were awkwardly straightforward or random. The idea behind the film is meaningful, but the execution left me feeling detached rather than moved...."
