"This is one of those films to watch on a friday evening. Something easy to watch if you just want to take your worries and thoughts away. Yes it even has a more simple and more predictible plot then the first one and its also slighty less dramatic and crazy fun then "Off track 1 / Ur Spår". But it works. Sometimes the more easier things works to be entertained aswell.¨ The acting is pretty good, it has one of those classic well-knowed actors in Sweden, those you usually know, so you know what to expect. Filming is pretty good aswell, similar to the cinematics and filming on the fir..."

"Ut och Cyclar/ Off Track 2" was released in May 2025, just a few weeks before the 60th running of Vätternrundan (ride around Vättern) a 315km recreational ride around Sweden's second largest lake. The annual ride happens the weekend before Midsummer.
The idea of the ride was hatched in 1964 by Sten-Otto Liljedahl,
a medical doctor (specialized in sports medicine) as a way of
promoting physical fitness in Sweden. He rode the route in 1964
with local bicycle shop owner Ewert Rydell, taking about 22 hours.
In 1966 the first VR was run with about 360 riders. The next year
almost 1000 cyclists participated and now over 15000 riders
enter.
The original riders from 1966 are called the "pioneers".
In 2025 there was only 1 pioneer left who had finished
all of the rides - Stig Johansson (age 79).
Originally Stig was to play himself in "UT OCH CYKLAR/ OFF TRACK 2"
but his part in the movie is played by actor Claes Månsson.
He appears at the very beginning of the movie,
and later he stops to give a "pep talk" to Klara when she has
almost given up. At the end he gives a little speech to
a reporter just before Klara comes in the finish.
