Kosovo Serbs who have no political connections, who never worked in the state institutions of Serbia and who had nowhere to go, but after the signing of the Kumanovo Agreement in 1999, when the state practically withdrew from Kosovo, had to stay there, barely surviving for years. Completely forgotten by both Serbia and the local Serbian authorities in Kosovo. At the same time, the state of Serbia, on various grounds, allocated a minimum of 2.8 billion euros for Kosovo over the last 12 years. This means that on average over the past years more than 650,000 euros have been spent per day, mostly from the Serbian budget.
