This is the first BL Wu Xia series that I&apos;ve ever watched. If I had to compare its fighting scenes to other Wu Xia series, then I&apos;d say that this series is lacking in that department. The fighting choreography was not good, especially with the main actor. You can see that he&apos;s not really good with martial arts just by looking at his movements. As for the visuals, it&apos;s really good. The plot is also very straight forward, it&apos;s not hard to follow. The acting was decent, from most actors anyway. Personally, I think that Leslie Li&apos;s acting was too stiff. I mean, there&apos;s a difference between a tsundere character and a wooden statue. Just because he had to play an icy cold person, doesn&apos;t mean he had to be expressionless while getting stabbed in the shoulder. Maybe he needs to take more acting classes.
