Many of the spears used by Saul and his men throughout the show feature heads that are replicas of the Yetholm spear head. This late bronze-age spear head was part of a 19th century archaeological discovery near Yetholm Scottland. This design is widely considered the epitome of spear head design from the British late bronze age due to its unique shape, size, and ornamentation. Archaeological finds from a late bronze age Israel and the adjacent areas have not revealed spear heads of this type. This specific spear head, while correct for the time period and material of construction, is geographically misplaced.
