Around 1990, a young boy from Jhapa, Eastern Nepal, journeyed to Kathmandu in search of work, eventually finding employment as a carpet weaver. However, due to his young age, he was soon laid off. Stranded in an unfamiliar city, he was discovered by some people from Northern Gorkha who promised him a job as a cowherd. Trusting their assurances, he embarked on a grueling two-week trek to the remote Tsum Valley. From that moment on, the mountains became his home, and he never returned. Now, over 40 years old, the man finally returns to reunite with his parents and relatives, a journey long overdue.
