"Mile End Kicks is probably the most Canadian movie I saw at Tiff this year. As a Californian, I feel like I learned a little more about the differences between Toronto and Montreal. The movie makes it clear that Toronto is a businessy city meant for corporate climbers while Montreal is the cool, hip city you go to if you want to be an artist. But don't even think about getting hired anywhere if you don't speak French.
