"This relatively short documentary is so powerful and well done that I don't feel it would have taken much more work to turn this into a 5-10 episode mini-series highlighting the contributions of women to music of all genres- Rhiannon Giddens gets the closest talking about the ancestral roots of the banjo and her songs but it would be so cool to see this become a warning pool for many into the waters of ethnomusicology.
