Elizabeth, the rich, meddling mother, has a squinty-eyed, tight-lipped smile that flashes on and off with unsettling frequency. This episode originally concluded the entire series when it was cancelled by Channel Seven, and the closing scenes were changed to remove a cliffhanger. When the series was renewed by Foxtel, the original version of this episode, complete with cliffhanger, was shown prior to Season 3, and during all subsequent repeat runs.
