A Terrific Film!

This is such an amazing film. From the very beginning it has some incredible cinematography that really draws you in. The whole look of the film is fantastic. The scenes in the beginning of the mountains are breathtaking 

Director Yunus Yildirim does an excellent job pacing this film. Some of the camera shots are so intriguing that it makes you want to watch them again just to dissect them. 

The plot of the film centers around a Kurdish nomad that has to figure out what to do with his recently deceased brother&apos;s family. He brings some injured lambs to the &quot;city&quot; where he hopes to sell them to earn some money to support his own family.

I have heard that this type of thing happens in the Middle East but never really thought about how it really affects the people involved. Yunus Yildirim&apos;s storytelling tugs at your heartstrings without being sappy or over the top. This type of situation is more common that I had thought. I love films like this that bring a social issue to light without being preachy or self serving.

I highly recommend this film. I will cause you to think a bit and will give you an interesting view of another culture.
