"Weekend at the End of the World is a goofball horror-comedy with enough cleverness to please even the most jaded horror fan. While not quite at the hysterical level of Tucker and Dale vs Evil (2010), it kept a smile on my face for most of its short 80 minute runtime, and a few jokes had me laughing out loud. On the horror end, the movie draws from a number of sources, most notably The Evil Dead (1981), taking place in a cabin in the woods which contains an evil portal to the underworld.
