"The majority of this series was a bit of slog for me, and sometimes like a movie, it stays that way right until the end. In the case of this show, it ended with its strongest episode by far, handling the theme of imminent death with grace and compassion. Tough to watch, but expect to be moved. Worth it if that's what you look for. Great performances by the whole cast. All the Emmy nominations were well-deserved, especially for the last couple of episodes...."
