"Not since Boomerang, although a different type of movie, have I seen a good film shown from the black males perspective where he is faced with a love decision, not the female. It was also refreshing to see 3 intellectual and emotionally aware black characters interact without the usual stereotypes; no one raps, dies, or is incarcerated. Going in you have to understand this isn't a big budget project, but I dont think that really took away from the production because it wasn't trying to be more than it was.
