Messy documentary with one book as documentation
"This is a low quality documentary made at haste. The interviewed people are mostly following Pacepa's book about Ceausescu, Doing just that would have lead to some decent results. But that was too much already. So many pieces are omitted just for added drama. And drama it is. Based on filtered information. Being done in haste, some of the footage is recycled from the Behr documentary about Ceausescu. So was it that bad? No. Not like in this film. Yet things were far worse. But the excesses are wiped out. The result is some Disney story about a country. And the makes are way too disrespec..."
