My late start into the 'Magical Animals' universe, but I was sure that with such format and corresponding age interpretation, any prior knowledge would not matter. German sauerkraut film authorities have therefore decided that a domestic 'Harry Potter' could be a win-win business for everyone. You could say the plan worked, as there seems to be quite a large fan cult here, but probably mainly among pre-teens.
