"It's fun and silly and not meant to be taken so seriously. It's a humorous combination of the archetypal wholesome American family (like the Cleavers) with the dysfunctional deviousness of the infamously sadistic Sawyers (Texas Chainsaw Massacre). Maybe the Cuttermans are just their rich, pretentious cousins or something. The brutality is great, the graphic depictions of torture and medical procedures were ok, the blood bothered me the most.
