This tip leads detectives Finn and Lars to the St. Ludgeri parish. The vehicle used in the attack is the parish's official car. Pastor Christoph Petersen is shocked by Kramer's death. He was a close friend of the victim. Nina and Gregor investigate that the socially committed politician was having an affair with 19-year-old Syrian Djamila Bashar. Djamila has been a protégé of the parish since she fled to Germany three years ago. Why did she get involved with a man twice her age? Was she coerced by Kramer? Nina and Gregor discover that Susanne Kramer had discovered her husband and threatened to kill him. Did she carry out her threat?
