"This micro-short starts abruptly and ends just as suddenly, leaving out the context - what happened before, who these people are, what their relationship is, and what comes next. We can make plenty of assumptions and interpretations based on the few lines of dialogue, but whether any of them would be accurate is anyone's guess. I think this would work best as a single-scene excerpt taken from a longer short film. That said, as I understand it, this was produced for an acting school as part of a talent launch bootcamp, so the emphasis is clearly on the acting - which, to be fair, is strong..."
