"Doctor Isles is a doctor and a scientist and should know better than to complain about the existence of calcium carbonate in Detective Rizzoli's cupcake. Calcium carbonate is not only used in non-prescription antacids, but it is also given directly as a supplement for those with calcium deficiency.
