The sudden surprises of life

First of all, this is a very lovely short film about the surprises of life that hits us hard in unexpected positive ways. The problem is that it&apos;s too freaking fast that I cannot talk about it at lenght as it would spoil the enjoyment. It&apos;s one of those quick experiences you wish it could go for hours, as a feature film, since the material offers possibilities for such and the two actors were quite effective in their roles.

The little I can describe relates to a sudden encounter of two men, with the first (Luke McCulloch) being amazed by the sight of a tall, dark and handsome significant other (Paul Kane), who gets followed by him. It all gives the impression of being one of those sex hookups with both parties following each other and going to a more quiet private place but it comes with a significant good twist. The longinging, the shyness, and the risk of it all because feelings blossomed deeply and some action must happen.

It&apos;s not much about telling a story, it&apos;s more about following the action between both characters and figure out what goes within both parties. Greatly well acted, without dialogues (just one line, actually) and audiences will get easily attracted by the scenario presented.

And it&apos;s totally comprehensible why the shy guy was obsessed with the beautiful stranger and his dangerous vibes. Kane is insanely great looking, not a trained actor, in fact he&apos;s a model - his internet portfolio is pretty impressive. Not just the looks, he&apos;s very expressive as well and the subtle expressions he uses at the ending just proves it. He should appear in more works.

As for a potential feature film or sequel, I can only dream about. 8/10.
