"The movie sounded interesting but quickly became convoluted and difficult to follow. Perhaps the movie is only for anime fans or people familiar with the novel. Although made by Hong Kong filmakers in Cantonese, the story is very Japanese dominated with fantasy themes. The best thing about the movie was the animation, which tended to be nice but this didn't help with staying tuned to the movie. We left the theater after about one hour...."
