Scary not funny

Maybe I&apos;m just old and I own that, but I keep encountering and seeing groups LGBT young people living precariously and dangerously on the margins. They&apos;re not entrepreneurial or engaging in anything that looks like owning their own businesses, and don&apos;t have jobs. I keep wondering what they&apos;re going to do as they age and at retirement. Having said that, I&apos;m definitely aware of many young LGBT people who are doing phenomenal things. So this is one small group.

But I watched this series anyway. It started out as a big Kiki about some kids acting bizarrely, a good laugh. But the more I watched, the more I began to feel heartbroken because I realized that for some of them, there may be substance abuse and/or mental health issues. Relationships are difficult enough, but layered with the formerly mentioned, it&apos;s a recipe for disaster. But for them even friendships were complicated and toxic such that minor issues like a piece of pie could lead to broken relationships, homelessness, and even incarceration.
