Bucky and Betty decide to take a leisurely drive out of town after a busy week in Bean Town. As they pile into the car on a perfect sunny morning, Bucky chats excitedly about yesterday's race and how much he's missed Betty, who's been busy running her bakery and community projects. Betty grins and waves Bucky's toolbox "spoon" into the back seat - and that's when Bucky realizes she's loaded it with dozens of bananas from her backyard grove.

Before he can protest, Betty bounds off to fetch even more fruit, returning with a colossal bunch that barely fits. Bucky struggles to lift it as Betty teases him: "We're helping hungry neighbors today!" Just then she produces a crate with a tiny, wistful chimpanzee named Chester in a purple wig. Betty explains she's fostering him "because he needs extra care," and that he's two years old and has a sensory challenge that makes him pull out his own hair. Bucky's concern turns to amusement as Chester nibbles Bucky's car keys and Bucky nervously wipes banana goo from his face.

As they set off again, Betty guides Chester through his first car ride - strapping him into a booster seat while Bucky insists on driving like a race car driver. Chester clings to Bucky's head, poking at his hair and then his nose, leading to a comical back-and-forth as Betty tries to calm the monkey's curiosity.
