"I had not heard about this military operation in Lima before and it is an interesting story in itself. The movie does an ok job of giving a historical account of what happened. However, as a movie it is not very entertaining to watch. The acting is quite poor and supposedly emotional scenes feel very hollow. The characters feel shallow and stereotypical. The military training scenes are laughably bad and often do not make sense. The hostages do not seem to scared at all either. One does not get the feeling they are really in danger.
