"I understand that the show has to cram all the characters and how they relate to each other in the first episode. The actors are good, even though they had to turn Sean into a hunk. The new Sean sucks. The family dinner is ridiculous. There is no way 2 rookie partners would be assigned the same unit without months of training from a training officer. Then they could search for a suspect on their second day instead of patrol. Not likely. Even if they catch the guy, their sergeant would ream their asses.
