"To be honest this could have been encapsulated into a single episode rather than three which continually went over the same ground. Most viewers of a certain age would already be familiar with the infamous case, and this production didn't really shed too much new light on the story. The photographs and the staging of them was of interest, particularly Myra Hindley's obvious complicity. Although I would not condone the use of the most offensive of language, in this instant it did serve to illustrate what a really obnoxious character Ian Brady was. His own recorded words...."
