Snuff Reel is part of a trilogy of no budget films, made whilst most of the members of Great Northern Films were students, during there spare time. Their other two films are The Photographer and A Vault Of Victims (which were the first ever pieces they put together as students). All 3 of them were made on a DV Camcorder. The Film was never intended for release as the Director reguarded it as practise/test shots.
