Addicted to HGTV

I&apos;ve been watching HGTV religiously since 2009 and I love most shows on it. I was very excited to see this show as the house hunting content is a fav of mine, but I absolutely can&apos;t stand the narrator.

I&apos;ve watched videos of him in other contexts and I don&apos;t mind his voice or his style at all, but for some reason on this show it&apos;s really distracting - - way too &quot;affected/campy&quot;, and the jokes are cheesy in a bad way. It makes the show more about the narration than it does about the content, and that&apos;s never a good thing.

I&apos;m not sure if he&apos;s reading someone else&apos;s writing or if he&apos;s writing the narration himself, but either way it&apos;s pretty bad.
